Mr. Hamad Al-Marzouq is currently the Chairman of Kuwait Finance House and Chairman of the Executive Committee and Member of the Governance Committee.

He has been a board member of the Kuwaiti Banks Association (KBA) and the association’s Chairman from 2010 to 2016. Mr. Al-Marzouq is a Board Member of the Banking Studies Institute and a Board Member of the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training (PAAET). He held the position of Member of the Board of Trustees of the Arab Academy for Financial and Banking Sciences and was also a Member of the Union of Arab Banks.

Mr. Al-Marzouq was Chairman of Ahli United Bank – Kuwait (AUBK) and was Vice Chairman of AUBK in the United Kingdom, Eygpt, Bahrain, and Jordan. He was also Vice Chairman of the Iraqi Commercial Bank.

Mr. Al-Marzouq held key executive positions at the Central Bank of Kuwait where he acted as Assistant Director of the Technical Affairs Office, and served as the Deputy Manager of Financial Control and then served as Director of Financial Control Department.

He holds a Master’s Degree in International Finance and Business Management from Claremont University, USA, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Systems Engineering from the University of Southern California, USA.
