Dilip Rao is Global Head, Infrastructure Innovation at Ripple Inc. and based in New York
City. In this role he engages with central banks, regulators and industry stakeholders to enable
innovation on the Ripple platform. Mr. Rao has over 30 years of experience in senior
management in technical, consulting, sales and marketing roles in Asia and Australia He has
consulted to major banks and corporates on innovation and was founder of Australia’s first
person-to-person payments startup.

Personal

Mr Rao holds a B.Sc. (Honours in Physics), B. Engg (Electrical) and an MBA from the Indian
Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, India.

He is married with two children and lives in New York, NY USA.
