Current Positions
Member of the Higher Committee of Shari’ah Supervision at the Central Bank of Kuwait (CBK) since 5-10-2020.
Works at the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs.
Work Experience
Has extensive experience in banking, and had previously served as a member of the Shari'ah Committee at Kuwait International Bank. He has also participated in numerous Islamic finance conferences both locally and abroad.
Academic Qualifications
Has a Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Department of Political Sciences, Kuwait University 1988. He studied and worked under a number of of prominent Shari’ah scholars during the period from 1986-1993.
