The Central Bank of Kuwait will be Closed to the Public for New Hijri Year (1448) Holiday
The Central Bank of Kuwait (CBK) will be closed in observance of the New Hijri Year 1448 on Tuesday, 16 June 2026 and will resume its operations during the official working hours on Wednesday, 17 June 2026.
However, if the first day of the New Hijri Year falls on Wednesday, 17 June 2026, CBK will be closed on Wednesday and Thursday, 17-18 June 2026, and will resume its operations on Sunday, 21 June 2026.
