The Initiative Accelerator Program is geared to support ambitious Kuwaitis with innovative ideas that benefit the banking and financial sector, and promote entrepreneurship within the national environment by creating real opportunities for the participants through an integrated approach of support and guidance that help enrich their ideas and turn them into successful ventures on pre-defined tracks.

For this program, a team was mobilized within the Initiative Accelerator Program, which combines technical and commercial capabilities, to develop Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) solutions designed solely for the Kuwaiti financial sector. Having completed all phases, many CBK-regulated entities were invited to participate in this program. In conclusion, CBK affirmed that it will continue its consolidated efforts to create a dynamic innovation-stimulating environment.
